Gardening Projects Launch June 2021

On the 9th June, both our ladies’ and elderly men’s gardening groups launched at Prism Centre on Woodville Rd.

So far we’ve planted veg and herbs including leeks, carrots, coriander, dill and many more! We’ve grown chives that good that we they sat there and ate them straight out the ground. It really benefits our elderly members’ fitness and general wellbeing. And it helps that the weather has been so nice recently too!

The men’s group meets every Wednesday at 10:30 and then the ladies’ group meets at 1pm (but we do have some couples too!). Contact Shazia (men’s group), Zatoon or Shaida (ladies’ group) on 01535 608900 / 07851096691 if you’d like to join in.
